Our traditional, honeycomb and felt-marked drawing papers provide a subtle texture  and ensure good pigment adhesion. They are particularly recommended for pencil drawings. The grain gives personality to pencil lines and allows nuanced shading. High grammages are recommended for gouache (250 g/m² and 300 g/m²).

Watercolour uses a wide variety of techniques and usually requires a special base paper. Its transparency distinguishes it from gouache which is opaque. Our fine-grained, rough and double-sided medium-grained papers have been specially designed for this technique

Painting with oil pastels allows artists to intimately express their reality, both emotionally and artistically. Our extra-strong open-grain board has a dry feel and and is the perfect medium for oil pastels which have a thick, flexible texture and pleasant to work with. The palette, or surface on which artists prepare the colours they want, gives them time to think about what they want to create. Artists who use oil pastel sticks have an intimate relationship with their work as it functions as a natural extension of the hand.

The India ink can be applied on our light-grained, slightly textured paper with a fountain pen, sharpened reed or paint brush. It can be used for both painting and writing.
